Register for NYC City of Forest Wings Without Borders Monarch Butterfly Tagging and Release Event

In celebration of the NYC City of Forest Day, the Inwood Butterfly Sanctuary will culminate the 2024 season by tagging and releasing the last of the monarch butterflies that we have worked so hard all year to raise. Visitors will be invited to enter our pop-up Butterfly Experience Vivarium to hand feed butterflies before they are released. Also, we proudly announce our Anthem Awards nomination for "Wings Without Borders" initiative to foster international cooperation, support, and community for monarch butterfly conservation efforts.
